On Friday 26th April, 2019, Paul Mwanguzi popularly known as DJ Peruz in the gospel world wedded Cilia Uwanakuze at Watoto Church Downtown on Kampala road.

Uwonakunze is the Young Adults coordinator at Watoto Church while her husband Mwanguzi is a DJ for Power FM and also for the church. He also volunteers and mentors the team of young adults that his wife heads.

The following are the photos from their wedding celebrations that we rounded up for you;

Muwanguzi opted for a red bow tie to match his blue shirt and dark blue suit while his wife looked simple and elegant in a boat neck designed gown with long lace sleeves by Anita Beryl Qouture. She went for minimal makeup with pearl stud earrings and a pearl headband that had a unique back piece that held her hair and veil.

The couple takes a family photo with their parents

The matron looked elegant and outstanding among the bridesmaids in an off shoulder long cream dress and enhanced her short hair with a British inspired bird cage veil. (Designed by Anita Beryl)

The bridesmaids went for gold one shoulder long dresses with a high slits paired with gold high heels. They accessorized their looks with long statement earrings and each had the freedom to chosen the design for their hairstyle.

The matron’s back tattoo looked amazing being displayed in the off shoulder dress. Her natural styled shaggy dreads looked elegant accessorized in a bird cage veil.

The parents of the bride give a speech. The daughter definitely got her sense of style from the mother. The bride’s mother looked chic and elegant in a ball room white dress with red and pink rose flower patterns. Her statement earrings had enough glitter to compliment the outfit.

The surprise artist who entertained the guests is renowned gospel artist, Seya Fundafunda from Zambia

Mr and Mrs Muwanguzi cut the simple gold and white cake with a pink floral arrangement as a design

The ambiance of the reception was magical with disco lights as the guests danced the night away

A bonfire party that took place at the reception until dawn

Looks like the kakima dance was not left out in the enjoyment
