A lot has been said about the release of photo moments at the kukyala ceremony of Rolex Festival queen and Former Miss Tourism Busoga 2015/2016, Enid Mirembe and her man, former radio presenter at Galaxy FM, Jonathan Nalebo famously referred to as “Slay King”. While some people are vibing with negative comments, others are happy for the couple upon starting their forthcoming marriage.
The couple has been dating for four years but decided to make it official. This saw Nalebo on his way to visit Mirembe’s parents in Mukono last weekend. Here are the moments that you missed from their kukyala.
The bride-to-be, Enid Mirembe wore a pale purple gomesi with a flowery pattern silver necklace and earrings. Her gomesi was adorned with stones in gold and silver.
The guests who came to ask for Mirembe’s hand in marriage stand in respect as elder’s in her family walk into the room.

Slay King is indeed the name for Nalebo who graced the occasion with a dark purple coat over his traditional Kanzu attire. The coat has specks of rich glitter embedded in it, giving it a fashionista look. It is only safe to conclude that he slayed for the occasion.
The girls from Mirembe’s family come out in the traditional wear to great the visitors. Mirembe is spotted with a lovey-dovey tilt of her head and a smile that wouldn’t leave a question on who the bride was.
The man of the day, Nalebo stands to be introduced to Mirembe’s family as the man interested in their daughter’s hand. On his right, one of the people who escorted him seems to take pleasure in his shine and probably also unsettling moment.
Nalebo is presented with a basket, probably holding coffee seeds, a thing done traditionally to show that the family accepts brotherhood with the guest at their home.
In this shot, we get a sneak peek of the couple’s love as they stare intently at each other. Mirembe can’t help but bask in the joy of the moment and Nalebo looks on adoringly.

Mirembe’s pale purple gomesi was a good contrast to Nalebo’s dark purple coat. Notably, this former Miss Tourism Busoga took it simple and opted for silent colours for her outfit yet she added some modern hint with her make up. This resonates with the kukyala traditions which should ideally be simple affairs.
Mirembe had a simple hair style . She also blended her lipstick with a darker shade of purple to a lighter inner pinky shade
